Photographing People with their Pets

I am often asked if I will photograph owners with their pets. Of course the answer is an enthusiastic YES. Capturing the special bond between pets and the people who love them is not just a job for me; it’s a passion!

The Joy of Pet Companionship

Let’s face it - your pets bring you so much joy and love. They are your loyal friends and steadfast companions. Whether it's the excited greetings with wagging tails when you walk through the door or the comforting presence they provide on a tough day, pets have a unique way of making life brighter. They greet you with happiness and a wagging tail when you walk in the door. In fact, the later you come home, the happier they are!!

Celebrate the love that you share

I really encourage my clients to get in front of the camera with their furry friends or schedule a family and pet photo shoot. Honestly, you will not regret it. And one day when your dog or cat is no longer with you, you will have truly priceless memories reminding you of the wonderful years you spent together, of the bond and friendship you shared. You will be so grateful that you did it!

Capturing Pets and their People through Diverse Photography

Images taken from different perspectives showcase the wonderful relationships and beautiful moments between dogs and their owners,

  • Posed or Candid Shots: Both styles have their charm. Posed photos can beautifully capture the essence of your relationship, while candid shots often reveal spontaneous moments of joy and affection.

  • Close-Up or Wide-Angle Shots: Close-ups can focus on the details—like the sparkle in your dog’s eyes or the texture of their fur. Wide-angle shots can encompass the broader context of your shared environment.

No matter how the photos are taken, they are about preserving special memories and capturing the unique bond between the people and their dogs!

If you’ve been considering a photo session with your pet, now is the perfect time. Celebrate the joy, love, and companionship your pet brings into your life. I look forward to capturing these special moments for you and

Don’t forget about the special bond between kids and their dogs. It’s never too late to schedule a photo session with your children and their pets.
